Following their exciting pipeline, they are now expanding the team with a CAD Design Engineer to support design processes across solar and battery storage projects.
Role Details
* Title: CAD Design Engineer
* Location: London
* Salary: £35,000‑£45,000
Responsibilities
* Preparing high‑quality CAD and GIS drawings to support land agreements, planning applications and project development.
* Producing options, lease and red‑line plans for legal and commercial use.
* Developing preliminary solar PV and BESS layouts, designs and site constraints plans.
* Carrying out early‑stage site assessments and feasibility analysis.
Qualifications
* A degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, renewable energy, geography, or a related discipline.
* About 2+ years’ experience in CAD design and/or GIS analysis, ideally within renewables, infrastructure or the built environment.
* Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) and GIS software.
* Experience with Solar PV and BESS technologies and system components.
