Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is hiring a Senior Planner to support our Delivery team on UK Water Engineering and Construction projects. This role will play a key part in our DCWW AMP8 framework in Wales, alongside wider Design and Construct projects across England, Scotland, and Wales.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of planning and project controls across individual projects and programme-level delivery. You will work closely with project teams and client stakeholders, ensuring robust programme development, accurate reporting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain project programmes, ensuring contractual and procedural alignment.
• Lead planning and controls functions across multiple projects.
• Integrate suppliers’ programmes and monitor critical path and float.
• Assess programme impact related to compensation events, claims, and time extensions.
• Produce progress reports and communicate milestones and risks to management and clients.
• Support and guide junior planners, helping build our growing planning capability.
Essential Requirements
• Strong background in planning and project controls.
• Proven experience managing multi-project programme delivery.
• Exposure to multi-disciplinary design, construct, and commissioning works—ideally within the Water sector.
• Advanced experience in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Degree or relevant experience within Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Design programme development experience.
• Water and wastewater sector knowledge.
• NEC contract familiarity.
• Earned Value Analysis.
• 4D modelling.
• Chartered status.
