Stageworks has been providing performing arts training at its Studios in St Neots, Cambridgeshire for over twenty years. During this time it has established a thriving Theatre School for children and a Performing Arts College for full time students aged 16 years and over, that has innovative courses for access to careers in the industry. It has become a national brand within the industry for providing quality education for students from across the UK and Europe.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to work part time looking after Stageworks college students who live in local rental accommodation plus work with letting agents and landlords. Additionally, there will be administrative duties including uniform stock purchasing within the role. The candidate must have a driving license and use of a car as need to regularly visit the rental properties.
The Job Role is based at our St Neots Studios
You will undertake the following after receiving in house training, immediate start available:
· Accommodation inspections on 4 rental properties in St Neots.
· Take monthly utility meter & water readings and monitor usage.
· Liaise with landlords, letting agents, local contractors, and utility companies.
· Organise any maintenance required within the properties from a selected list of contractors which you will collate and negotiate charges.
· Work with the students to resolve any housing problems.
· Keep accurate records for each property including monthly bills, checking contracts and ensuring correct charges etc.
· Potentially taking on new properties and moving out of properties when they are no longer required.
· Answering the telephone for Stageworks general and housing queries.
· General office duties
· Computer work – including use of Microsoft Office (including word & excel) & Class Manager
· Filling Stock, ordering and maintaining uniform stock levels
· Assist with other duties at Stageworks as required.
Desirable
· Knowledge of benefit systems
· Knowledge of student support funding
· Knowledge of housing regs & tenancy rental agreements
· Knowledge of managing contractors

Hours to be covered:
3 hours per day during office hours, 5 days a week – 41 weeks in total which is 38 working weeks during term time. 3 weeks work during the summer holidays to check & sort the student houses & organise students moving in and out of the properties (some of these days maybe longer hours).
From time-to-time additional hours including weekends may be required.

Pay: £7,736.70 per year
