Job Title: Technical Trainer – Machinery Safety
Location: UK
Are you passionate about machinery safety and eager to share your expertise with others? We are seeking a skilled Technical Trainer to deliver bespoke training courses across a wide range of machinery safety topics, including Risk Assessment, PUWER, and CE Marking. As part of an established engineering service provider, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and helping them maintain compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver tailored machinery safety training courses to clients in various industries, ensuring the content is relevant and up to date with UK, European, and international safety standards.
* Support clients with machinery safety assessments across the UK and Europe, identifying and reporting non-compliances based on industry standards.
* Generate detailed reports based on your findings and provide expert advice on machinery safety.
* Develop and maintain course content, training materials, and equipment.
* Stay up to date with the latest machinery safety regulations and standards, continuously learning and improving your expertise.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience delivering training across a range of safety topics, particularly in machinery and equipment safety.
* Strong command of the English language, with the ability to write clear reports and research standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Comfortable working in a variety of industrial environments (PPE/RPE provided when required).
Qualifications (Preferred but not Essential):
* Teaching qualifications (e.g., CAVA, PTLLS, AET, TAQA).
* Health and Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, NVQs).
* Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC, Degree).
* Machinery Safety certifications (e.g., CMSE).
Training & Development:
Full training will be provided to help you succeed in the role, regardless of your current experience. You will receive comprehensive support to enhance your knowledge and develop the necessary skills for delivering high-quality training and machinery safety assessments.
