Backend Engineer (.NET)- Contract (Outside IR35) Location: South West London Contract: 3 months initially, with strong extension potential, immediate start Rate: Up to £550 per day (Outside IR35) Overview We're seeking a number of experienced Backend Engineer (.NET) to help design and deliver scalable, high-performance backend systems for a modern, cloud-based platform. This is a hands-on contract role for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and contribute immediately to architecture, development, and problem-solving. Responsibilities Design and build robust, scalable backend services and APIs Develop clean, testable, production-ready code using C# and .NET Support integrations with frontend applications and third-party services Troubleshoot and resolve backend and system-level issues Optimise performance, availability, and reliability of services Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver key priorities Contribute to reusable components and shared libraries Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET (ideally .NET 6) Proven experience building and maintaining APIs and microservices Familiarity with OpenAPI / Swagger Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB ) Experience integrating with third-party APIs, including Microsoft Graph API Cloud experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP Comfortable working in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments If this role sounds like a fit, apply now for immediate consideration.
