Job Description : Role: AV Strategy Director Reporting to: Head of AV (70%) & Head of Activation (30%) We are looking for a talented and confident AV specialist to fill a newly created Strategic Director role to deliver best in class media implementation and strategic vision for Havas. The role comprises of two main elements. Strategic Activation Lead (70%) Reporting into the Head of AV this role will be instrumental in shaping and leading the strategic and implementational output across linear, BVOD, CTV and audio in line with the Havas Media Mx planning process. Whilst primarily rooted in the AV team, this person will work with the strategists and senior planning leads to deliver best in class activation responses This role will be responsible for delivering excellence in activation strategies and campaign delivery, making sure every response is rooted in a good balance of logic and creativity This role will translate data and insight in to planning opportunities to make sure best in class and progressive thinking is in every response You will be seen as a valuable contact for the media focused clients and an ally to them in delivering excellence. With that in mind, you must be confident, vocal and able to persuade clients what great looks like. Experienced practitioner in AV and audio planning, buying, delivery and auditing to ensure delivery of campaign execution strategies are in line with client and agency needs Create and deliver activation responses for new business pitches and client briefs, delivering smart and confident strategic responses every time - elevating the Havas approach to outsmart and get closer to people Continued learning, sharing and development of the evolving media landscape Planning Hub (30%) Reporting into the Head of Activation within the central planning hub, the AV Strategy Director will support the Head of Activation in ensuring that strategic and planning excellence is realised within the wider AV activation approach Aiding the Mx Hub in creating and delivering a Best-in-Class media vision within Havas Helping to create planning culture centred in creative media solutions that deliver outcomes Upskilling the AV Activation Teams and being the go-to person to bounce ideas off Supporting in the creation and use of proprietary planning tools Roll our new to market solutions like Attention and Sustainability within our media responses Other characteristics that will help you succeed in this role Outcomes focused: As Havas we are obsessed with outcomes, so having a genuine interest in measurement and the impact of media on brand metrics, econometrics, and behaviour is key. Opportunistic: Spotting opportunities to create solutions to client's media needs from the data team and insight teams and then helping to fill those gaps. Creative: Finds new ways of delivering media solutions and spots opportunities in content, tech or media that will elevate a brand, or a campaign. Clear Communication: Engaging presenters, with an ability to deliver their unique storytelling style in presentations and pitches, and to comfortably run workshops understanding how to keep the energy up without losing focus on the task Organised & reliable: We need people that can make sht happen As you will have a few workstreams live at any one time, it is important that you are able to manage their own time effectively, and can spot gaps or issues before they arrive to ensure smooth delivery of projects and client work Patient & Thoughtful: Taking the time to coach and train any direct reports, and also non direct reports on the Activation Teams to help them raise their game.
