National Account Manager Industrial Gases
Location: United Kingdom

Are you a commercially savvy sales professional with experience of industrial gases or related industries? Do you thrive on managing strategic accounts, unlocking growth opportunities, and driving profitability? If so, this is your opportunity to join our client, a leading global organisation specialising in the production and supply of industrial and medical gases.
Were looking for an ambitious Sales Manager, with significant commercial experience of national key account management, business development and strategic planning. This important position will include responsibility for managing high level key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver commercial success.
What You'll Be Doing
* Key Account Management: Lead and nurture senior-level relationships with major customers across the UK & Ireland. Ensure maximum profitability and deliver on strategic goals.
* Sales & Business Development: Drive new business opportunities, create and execute sales strategies, and support product growth in target industries.
* Contract Management: Negotiate and renew contracts, ensuring long-term value and alignment with business objectives.
* Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive activity and trends, feeding insights into strategic planning and sales initiatives.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, operations, marketing, and global account teams to align on customer needs and drive efficiency.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets, forecasts, and detailed commercial reports to inform decision-making and planning.
What You Bring
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent) with extensive experience in B2B sales and key account managementideally within the industrial gases sector.
* Proven ability to manage strategic accounts and drive commercial growth across complex environments.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with confidence operating at senior technical and commercial levels.
* A self-starter with a track record of translating strategy into action and delivering tangible results.
* Knowledge of industrial gas applications and uses gained from a gases supplier or from a sector that uses industrial gases as part of their operation. Ie. Manufacturers of equipment and machinery used in the Medical, Chemical, Food and beverage or Electronics industries.
* Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
