Are you an experienced Site Fitter or Steel Erector, who doesn't mind night outs from Mon ? Thu working in London? If you are a Site Fitter/Steel Erector used to working with structural steel / architectural metalwork fitting ? staircases, balustrades, railings etc this would be a great opportunity to join a friendly team that really values its employees. If you are a Steel Erector that can turn their hand to anything, after training, this could be the role for you.
Our prestigious client, a bespoke design and manufacturing company are looking for Steel Fitters / Erectors to join their team which is based in Lincoln. Due to their work being predominately in London, you will be required to work Monday to Friday in London, your pay will reflect the hours worked.
Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Steelworkers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metalwork, welding, and fabrication. As a Steelworker, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures using various tools and techniques.
Duties
- Assemble and erect structural steel frameworks
- Weld and fabricate metal components
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Perform stick welding and sheet metal work
- Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
Experience
- Previous experience in ironworking, welding, or a related field
- Mechanical knowledge for operating tools and equipment
- Ability to fabricate metal structures accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and stick welding techniques
