Salary: £12.21 per hour (£25,396.80 per annum)

Highlea Care Limited is part of the National Care Group.
Based in and around the Bishop Auckland and Shildon area, Highlea Care supports adults and young people across 16 supported living services. We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, mental health issues, and challenging behaviors. Our team promotes person-centered support, helping each person achieve their goals and aspirations.
We are currently looking for a Support Worker to join our team at Highlea Care Limited - Shildon.

The Role of a Support Worker
You will work with young adults who have complex needs. We seek a respectful and caring individual passionate about supporting young adults to fulfill their potential. This role can be challenging but highly rewarding.
You will build positive relationships by listening, discussing, and planning goals together. Your duties include planning daily tasks, assisting with practical activities (cooking, cleaning, errands), supporting with personal care (including eating and medication), and organizing engaging outings. Your support will help individuals become more independent and improve their quality of life.
