Are you a passionate Food & Nutrition Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of learners?
We are working in partnership with our client, a successful and high-achieving academy school based in Brooklands, Milton Keynes, to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Nutrition Teacher for a maternity leave cover position starting in September 2025.
The Role:
1. Deliver engaging and high-quality Food & Nutrition lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
2. Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum standards
3. Support student progress and development in a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
4. Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities and departmental collaboration
The Ideal Candidate Will:
1. Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
2. Have experience teaching Food & Nutrition at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
3. Be passionate about their subject and committed to supporting student achievement
4. Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
5. Be available for a full-time maternity cover from September 2025
