The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Racquets Programme Manager to lead and develop our adult and junior racquets programme. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone who is not only passionate about tennis but also excited about the growth of padel and pickleball in the UK.
Alongside programme management, you will also have the opportunity to coach padel and pickleball, helping to bring these fast-growing sports to more players at the club. This role is ideal for a motivated coach who thrives on developing new opportunities and wants to play a key role in the future of racquet sports.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the club's adult and junior racquets programmes.
* Coach padel and pickleball, championing their growth within the club.
* Work with coaches to ensure sessions are engaging, inclusive, and progressive.
* Support player pathways from beginner through to competitive levels.
* Develop innovative ideas to grow participation and enhance member experience.
* Coordinate schedules, tournaments, and events to enrich the programme offering.
What We're Looking For
* A strong background in racquet sports (tennis essential, padel and pickleball coaching experience or strong interest highly desirable).
* Coaching and/or programme management experience within a club or community environment.
* Passion for growing participation and creating inclusive opportunities for adults and juniors.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive, creative mindset with the drive to take the programme forward.
