Climate17 are delighted to be partnering with a leading international renewable energy business as they strengthen their UK commercial function with the appointment of a Contracts & Claims Manager. This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation at the forefront of the energy transition, supporting the delivery of large-scale solar and storage projects across Europe.
The Opportunity
Sitting within the London office, the Contracts & Claims Manager will take ownership of all commercial, contractual, and claims-related activity across a diverse portfolio of EPC, O&M, and supply contracts.
You’ll act as a key interface between Project Management, Global Engineering and Technical Support (GETS), Supply Chain, Legal, Asset Management and O&M, ensuring contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and commercial outcomes are optimised.
This is a strategic role with a blend of contract expertise, stakeholder management, and digital capability – ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full contract lifecycle across EPC and O&M agreements, from drafting and reviewing commercial provisions through to execution.
* Oversee contract compliance, performance, risk identification, and claims preparation.
* Lead negotiations on settlements and claims, ensuring commercially sound outcomes.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams to align contractual frameworks with organisational objectives and support smooth project delivery.
* Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in commercial processes.
* Leverage digital and technical tools to enhance contract and claims management, including workflow automation, analytics dashboards, and integration with ERP and project management systems.
What We’re Looking For
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law or a related discipline.
* Proven experience managing EPC and O&M contracts, ideally within solar PV or O&M environments; BESS exposure is a strong advantage.
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex contractual issues.
* Confident negotiator with excellent stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
* Fluent written and spoken English; additional European languages beneficial.
* Demonstrated ability to use contract management systems, digital workflows, and analytics tools to drive operational efficiency.

Join an international renewable energy business where you will work on high-impact projects, shape commercial strategy, and contribute directly to the performance of a growing asset portfolio. The role offers significant exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence how commercial and contractual processes evolve as the business scales.
