Business Administration is a wide and varied team that provides essential administrative support across GCHSCP. This role offers comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance within Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services (ADRS) and Adult Services and supporting key service areas including Learning Disability, Mental Health, and Older People.
As a Clerical Officer, your role will be to support a team within a busy office environment carrying out a range of administration tasks including call handing, reception duties and financial processes.
The role also involves minute-taking of complex and sensitive meetings. While full training will be provided, applicants should be aware of this requirement.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant skills such as call handling, reception duties, display good communication and organisational skills, including a basic knowledge of IT systems, such as Microsoft Office packages, however full training and support will be provided as part of the role. Successful applicants will require to attend and participate in training, including completion of mandatory online training courses/briefings.
Please note that all applicants should demonstrate a flexible approach to the needs of the role and may be at times required to work from multiple locations across the North East Sector.
