We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work for our NHS client based in Morpeth, Northumberland. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short‑term contract.
Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality patient care, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualised treatment plans on the General Adult Psychiatry Ward. The role requires Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approval, compliance with all legal obligations under the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice, assessment of patients under the MHA, making recommendations under the MHA, and acting as Responsible Clinician (RC).
Qualifications and Experience
* You must have a full GMC licence to practice
* Section 12 approval
* Approved Clinician status
* Previous experience in a similar role
