Overview
Join the UK’s largest repair group in this fantastic opportunity, as a Roaming Vehicle Damage Assessor in the North West region of the UK and take advantage of exceptional company benefits. This position is available due to internal promotion. The role is varied, involving working across multiple sites to support the region during holidays, peak volume, training and any on‑site assistance, and to be a champion for the North West Region. Ideally based in Ellesmere Port with approximately one hour travel to each site. A car is provided for business use and daily commute to sites.
Qualifications
* Proven VDA/Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator with experience using Audatex, qualified to NVQ level 3 and an ATA/IMI qualification, solid bodyshop background.
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
Estimate and inspect accident damage on vehicles of all makes and models, assess damage extent, repair costs and timeframes. Identify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain electronic and manual estimates. Liaise with insurance companies for repair authority, and with customers, engineers and technicians to explain repair methodology. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Thatcham Repair Methods, BSi safety standards, insurers and manufacturer bulletins.
