Overview
This is a key role for an experienced engineer who takes pride in resolving issues first time, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working hands-on with security systems in the field.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnosing and resolving faults across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and other on-site security systems
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining cameras, locks, panels, and associated hardware
* Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and system upgrades
* Providing technical support both on-site and remotely
* Communicating clearly with clients and producing accurate service reports
* Ensuring compliance with SLAs and maintaining service records
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years\' experience in a service or support role within electronic/physical security systems
* Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarms, and related systems (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, C.Cure a bonus)
* Confident in using diagnostic tools and fault-finding techniques
* Good understanding of IP-based systems and networking for CCTV and access systems
* Excellent communicator with a proactive, customer-focused attitude
* Full UK driving licence
Bonus Skills
* Previous experience working to SLA requirements
* Willingness to travel across the UK (and occasionally Europe)
