You will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and external agencies, helping to maintain a warm, efficient, and well‑run front‑of‑house environment. The team is collaborative, caring, and committed to providing a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
About the role:
* Provide a professional and welcoming reception service to all visitors, staff, and callers
* Manage incoming calls, emails, post and general enquiries efficiently
* Maintain accurate visitor logs and carry out safeguarding and security procedures
* Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and preparing documents
* Work closely with office managers and wider administrative teams to ensure smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front‑of‑house role (school/education experience desirable but not essential)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
* A calm, friendly, and proactive approach to handling a busy reception environment
* Competent with Microsoft Office and general administrative systems
To be eligible you must:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional, relevant references
