We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator (Heating, Boiler & Electrical Services sector) to join a successful and expanding team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to produce accurate mechanical estimates for a variety of projects. This role is office-based, offering long-term stability, strong company culture and excellent benefits. Key Responsibilities Prepare mechanical cost estimates and tenders for new projects Review drawings, specifications and client documents Liaise with engineers, suppliers and contractors to obtain accurate pricing Produce detailed proposals and bid submissions Analyse risks, project constraints and technical requirements Support the wider commercial and estimating team Requirements Must-Have: Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanical Estimator Strong understanding of mechanical building services Excellent analytical and numerical skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Good communication and negotiation skills Nice-to-Have: Experience with estimating software Background within construction, M&E or building services Salary & Benefits £42,000 £50,000 per annum PAYE employment 28 days annual leave Uniform provided Private healthcare after 12 months Supportive, professional working environment Working Pattern Full-time, office-based 40 hours per week Located in Southampton Apply Now If youre ready to take the next step in your career, click Apply Now This is your chance to join a forward-thinking company that truly values its team.
