SEN Tutor Location: Hillingdon Salary: £31,000 - £34,500 per annum (Depending on Experience) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 35 hours per week SEN Tutor Job Overview We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor to join a specialist post-16 education provision supporting young adults aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), SEND, Autism, Learning Disabilities and additional learning needs. This SEN Tutor role is ideal for a teacher, tutor, employability tutor, functional skills tutor or SEND practitioner who is committed to helping young people develop the skills, confidence and independence required to progress into supported internships, employment and adult life. You will teach learners working from Entry Level 3 to Level 2, delivering personalised learning programmes focused on employability skills, independence, functional skills, PSHE, workplace readiness and personal development. Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning Plan and deliver engaging lessons using the RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement) framework. Teach learners with Special Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities (SEND/LDD) in small groups and individual sessions.
