Job Description
As part of the team that aims to deliver performance reporting and performance analysis for the EMEA Region, your remit will include:
3. Supporting a wide range of stakeholders within Finance and across the organisations marketing and strategic planning departments.
4. Involvement in the end-to-end delivery of analytics reporting solutions and supporting adoption of data transformation and data analytics applications.
5. Proactive exploration and Finance use case prototyping of reporting, productivity, and other applications / tools to drive efficiency, innovation, and data governance.
6. Empower analytics application end users through the enhancement documentation and training materials curricula ensuring these reference materials are actively managed for updates.
7. Ensure analytics and reporting change is managed appropriately and in a timely manner from a Finance perspective.
8. Proactively contribute to the evolution of Power BI analytics with timely and accurate updates to shared dashboards
9. Perform required data analysis, data modelling, data integration and data reconciliation activities to support a wide range of stakeholders
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have
10. Excellent analytical skills
11. Sound understanding of accounting principles (ideally Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
12. Experience of working with Business Intelligence tools (particularly PowerBI and Tableau) - essential
13. Experience of using Alteryx also beneficial
14. Advanced MS Excel skills / experience is essential
15. Practical knowledge of SQL highly desirable
16. Banking or Financial Services sector experience - highly desirable
17. Ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly.
18. Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
19. Experience working in a finance-based reporting role (management accounts, financial reporting, product control, tax or regulatory reporting) highly desirable.
20. Confident working with large data sets and performing data reconciliation is essential.
21. Educated to degree level or equivalent vocational qualification in a Finance / Banking / Accounting / Data Science / Data Analytics Discipline.
