Salary: From £27,212.64 per year + sleep-ins at £60 + enhanced overtime + generous benefits
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
Work Pattern: 08:0021:00 shifts, averaging 42 hours per week with every other weekend off

P4 are working with a client who are expanding their small, nurturing home in NG13 and are looking for a compassionate, energetic and resilient Female Youth Development Support Worker to join their dedicated team. You'll be supporting two children and young people (aged 618) who are unable to live with their families due to early trauma, neglect, or other significant life challenges.
These young people may present complex emotional, behavioural and learning needs, but with the right guidance and care, they have the potential to thrive. Thats where you come in.

What Were Looking For
We welcome applications from people who are:
Experienced (6+ months) in a similar setting with children or young people
Emotionally intelligent, empathetic, and calm under pressure
Comfortable managing challenging behaviours with patience and consistency
Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable children
Willing to undertake a Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already qualified)
Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a car (our homes are not served by public transport)
Shift Pattern & Work-Life Balance
Enjoy a rotating shift pattern that offers structure and flexibility:
Week 1 (Long Week): Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2 (Short Week): Wednesday, Thursday
Shifts: 08:0021:00 | Average 42 hours per week
Salary & Benefits
Pay Rates (based on experience and qualifications):
Level 2 (612 months experience): £27,212.64 (£12.46/hr)
Level 3 (12+ months experience, no L3/4 Diploma): £28,173.60 (£12.90/hr)
Level 4 (12+ months + L3 Diploma): £29,877.12 (£13.68/hr)
