Architectural Project Lead | Loughton, Essex

Overview
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced architect with a strong leadership track‑record in the residential sector. The successful candidate will lead a team of up to four members, manage client relationships, and oversee projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership, management and direction to a team of architects and technical staff.
* Act as Lead Consultant, ensuring consultants deliver work on programme and to the highest standards.
* Report regular updates to clients and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
* Deliver full architectural services in line with the RIBA Plan of Work.
* Assess team strengths and support professional development.
* Maintain high standards of design, construction and contract management.
* Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
* Prepare technical documentation and oversee production of drawings.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive experience in residential projects and team leadership.
* Strong stakeholder management and client‑facing skills.
* Excellent design and technical understanding.
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; BIM experience preferred.
* Knowledge of planning processes, building regulations, NHBC standards and construction technologies.
* Ability to lead by example and inspire a collaborative team culture.
