The Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies that enhance business profitability and operational efficiency across our Power Generation and Water clients. This role requires a strong understanding of professional services and financial management and requires strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities to drive commercial success. The role will sit and work alongside the Power Generation and Water teams but will report centrally to the finance director. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement commercial strategies to align with business goals. Understand the business's commercial operations, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide informed financial advice. Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to drive business growth and profitability. Improve business processes to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Stay up to date with the latest trends and market developments to identify growth opportunities. Provide contractual advice to the business to ensure favourable terms. Identify and mitigate commercial risks that could impact business operations. The successful Candidate will be: Proven experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or a related role within professional services. Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting and forecasting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial for success in this role. Strong communication and leadership abilities to influence stakeholders.
