We are seeking an experienced and driven Practice Manager for
37.5 hours from 1st July 2026
Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience)
Due to retirement of our long-standing practice manager, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly developed, progressive, friendly, semi-rural practice.
Newland Medical Practice has a dedicated and dynamic team. This stable team comprises of five GP partners, three salaried GPs and a highly skilled nursing team made up of one ANP, a Practice Nurse and an HCA. There is also excellent support from a strong team of administration staff.
We have extensive community nursing and HSCP services on site.
We are a training practice for Specialist Registrars, Foundation and Undergraduate teaching and provide excellent primary care services to our population of 9,300 patients.

Our practice operates from modern purpose built premises and is based in Bathgate, West Lothian and we are central to Edinburgh and Glasgow with excellent rail and road links to both.

Be resilient and have the ability to motivate staff
Be familiar with HR processes and have demonstrable
experience of managing teams
Implement and manage organisational change to improve systems and processes
Have excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities
Ensures compliance of clinical governance frameworks, health and safety legislation as well as GDPR and Information Governance standards
Oversee the practice clinical IT systems
