The Store Manager plays a vital role in the store's success, overseeing sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Recruitment, induction, and training/development of staff in line with Subway's standards—lead by example!
* Creating and managing staff schedules
* Checking deliveries, matching orders, and handling daily banking
* Preparing stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets
* Managing cash balances and minimizing wastage
* Ensuring 100% compliance with Subway and local regulations
* Inventory management, stock control, weekly stock takes, and reporting
* Analyzing sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
* Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
* Implementing in-store marketing materials and point-of-purchase displays in line with campaigns
* Ensuring safety procedures are followed to prevent injuries
* Providing a safe environment for employees and customers
* Encouraging high levels of customer service among staff
* Handling escalated customer complaints
* Delivering excellent service in product handling, sales, and catering to customer needs
