Role: Teaching/Learning Support Assistant
Rate of pay: £72 - £85 daily rate
Hours: Full time, Short/Long term
We are currently looking for Teaching/Learning Support Assistants to work with Special Education Needs (SEN) schools across the Hillingdon area. The role will involve supporting students of a variety of ages and learning abilities in their social and academic growth and development.
The ideal candidate will have a positive and resilient nature to them and have the willingness to commit to their role and the students within their care.
The role:
1. To support the students in their social, behavioural and academic development.
2. As a Teaching/Learning support Assistant you will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure all safeguarding procedures are met to ensure the safety of the children is not compromised.
3. Be able to use positive reinforcement when supporting behaviour difficulties.
4. Help the child to engage in learning activities and manage their behaviour
5. Monitor and record the child's progress and report back to the teacher
6. Work with the pupils on a 1:1 basis or small groups.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience working within an educational setting or relevant background
8. Willing to commit to full time hours and working with SEN children
9. Personal care and SEN experience is preferred but not a requirement
