The Role
You will be working in an established Private Client team and taking ownership of your own clients from day one. Managing a caseload which spans the full range of Private Client work, including wills, POAs, guardianships and executries.
You will also be one of the key experts in the team for tax and succession planning, and as such will provide advice on inheritance tax, capital gains and technical advice to meet client aims regarding succession planning.
As a Legal Director, you will be responsible for actively contributing to business development opportunities for the firm and supporting the growth of more junior team members. There is a clear progression pathway through to Partnership which is an exciting prospect given the ambitious growth plans of the firm over the coming years.
Clients and cases span the full gamut of size and complexity, meaning the role will provide the successful candidate with unrivalled practical experience.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Is an experienced Private Client lawyer, with at least 7 years PQE
2. Is a strong team leader who can work independently and support a larger team
3. Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients including high-net-worth individuals
4. Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and colleagues alike.
5. Is well organised and can prioritise efficiently
6. Has a good understanding of the financial matters relating to Private Client work
