The main purpose of the weighbridge operator is to ensure the smooth operation ofthe facility, acting as the first and last point of contact for all staff and contractors. The operator will alsobe responsible forensuring that all legal and contractual obligations are met, including site inductionscompleted. TheYardMarshall actsas a keycomponentof the transport function,liaisingwith them regularly to ensure the delivery of afirst-classservice to ourcustomer. Whatyoulldo on a typical day: Comply withall legislative requirements, Company policies and procedures and customer-specific requirements. Ensure that all personnel entering site have been inducted using the rapid induct system. Check that only authorised vehicles and people enter on to the site. Ensure that all vehicles that enter and exit site are logged. Issue site rules to all drivers. Ensure thatappropriate paperworkis completed accurately andin a timely manner. Understand andcomply withall relevant Company rules, agreements, policies, procedures and with all relevant legislative requirements and codes of practice. Ensure Company business is treated in the strictest confidence and notdisclosedto persons outside the Company. Act in a professional manner, ensure good working relationships aremaintainedand promote a good image of the Company at all times Whereappropriate challengeanddeterminereasons for presence on site of any unauthorised person.
