Job Title: Call Handler
Location: Cwmbran (due to its location you will require your own transport)
Pay Rate: £12.70 per hour
Hours: Monday and Tuesday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (with occasional ad hoc shifts to cover absences)
Contract Type: Temporary, until January 2026
About the Role:
Manpower is recruiting for a Call Handler to join a busy team within a public sector organisation. The role involves answering inbound calls, speaking with service users and professionals and guiding callers through a series of questions to determine eligibility for transport services. You'll then arrange bookings where appropriate, ensuring all information is recorded accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering inbound calls in a professional and helpful manner
Asking structured questions to assess eligibility for transport services
Accurately recording information on internal systems
Liaising with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service

Previous experience in a call handling role is essential
Excellent communication and listening skills
Confident using computer systems and inputting data accurately
