Job Details:
1. Pay: £15.00 per hour
2. Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30
3. Duration: Temp To Perm (14 weeks)
Job Role: As a Semi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for operating a forklift truck (FLT) across the site and workshop to safely load and unload materials. The Semi Skilled Operative will also drive a van between the workshop and site, assisting with loading and unloading materials as required. This Semi Skilled Operative role involves supporting daily operations within both the engineering workshop and on-site environments, ensuring materials are transported efficiently and safely at all times.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
4. FLT operation experience
5. Experience working on site or within an engineering workshop
6. Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
7. Full UK Driving Licence
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
8. Previous experience in a Semi Skilled Operative role
9. Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Additional Information
10. Loading and unloading materials between the workshop and site
11. Working across both workshop and site environments
