A well-regarded South Yorkshire firm is looking for an experienced Family Fee Earner to join its Barnsley office. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied caseload within a supportive, close-knit team that values empathy, professionalism and long-term relationships.
You’ll step into an established department with strong local ties and a consistent flow of new instructions – with the added benefit of hybrid working once you’re settled in.
The Role:
Managing a caseload of family law matters, including:
* Divorce and financial remedy
* Private and public children matters
* Domestic abuse and injunctions
* Cohabitation and separation agreements
* Preparing court documents, conducting advocacy where appropriate and liaising with clients throughout
* Legal Aid experience preferred but not essential
About You:
* You may be a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Family Fee Earner
* Confident handling a mixed caseload independently
* Approachable and sensitive to clients’ needs during challenging times
* Comfortable working in a high street or community-focused firm
