Vetmatch is working in partnership with a progressive and well-established veterinary group in the West Yorkshire that is currently seeking a permanent veterinary surgeon to join their thriving team across their purpose-built hospital and local branch network.
This opportunity offers an excellent balance of consulting, surgical work, and case management. The practice places a strong emphasis on team collaboration and ongoing clinical development, with a highly supportive environment for assistant vets and those on the VetGDP programme. Clinical mentorship is available from an experienced team of 14 veterinary surgeons, including certificate holders and Advanced Practitioners in key disciplines such as Surgery, Medicine, Dermatology, Imaging, and Cardiology.
The successful candidate will benefit from the guidance of an experienced and well-structured leadership team, including a Surgical Director, Practice Director (RVN), Practice Manager, Senior Vets, Head Nurses, and Head Receptionist—all working in unison to support both clinical and professional development. The culture is proactive, kind, and open, with a clear focus on continuous improvement and wellbeing.
The wider clinical team is further enhanced by 16 qualified RVNs, many of whom hold post-graduate certificates, along with dedicated and professionally trained receptionists, several of whom hold BVRA and Customer Service qualifications.
