Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences in a vibrant, community-focused environment? One Garden Brighton is looking for a dynamic Retail & Hospitality Supervisor to help lead our commercial outlets and ensure every visitor receives outstanding service-every time.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you'll support the Retail & Hospitality Manager in the day-to-day operations of our retail and food & beverage outlets. You'll lead by example, mentor seasonal staff, and ensure our spaces are welcoming, well-stocked, and beautifully presented. From managing stock and EPOS systems to coordinating events and driving sales, your role will be central to our success.
What You'll Do
* Deliver and champion exceptional customer service
* Supervise and support seasonal staff, including rota management
* Maintain high standards in food, beverage, and retail presentation
* Manage stock levels, deliveries, and EPOS systems
* Assist with events and corporate bookings
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and financial procedures
* Deputise for the Retail & Hospitality Manager when needed
What We're Looking For
* Experience in retail or hospitality, ideally at a visitor attraction
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Confident with IT and EPOS systems
* A team player who can nurture junior staff
* Flexible and proactive approach to work
* Food hygiene and first aid qualifications (desirable)
