In this role, you’ll be at the heart of keeping production running smoothly — solving problems, supporting continuous improvement, and helping ensure everything on the shop floor is safe, efficient, and performing at its best.

What you'll be doing:
* Support operational functions including breakdowns, machine cover, problem solving, data collection, and routine machine running during absences, especially when in sole charge of shifts.
* Contribute to a positive team environment, supporting colleagues and adapting positively to change.
* Communicate professionally and promptly with managers and team members to maintain production and safety standards.
* Coordinate setup and changeovers, monitor machine operation, and address issues promptly to minimize downtime.
* Liaise with shift leads and management on critical issues related to safety, quality, and production.

* Escalate non-standard faults to shift lead.
* Recommend operational improvements and adjust equipment to optimize efficiency.
