Job Description
Key responsibilities:
3. Lead, develop, and performance-manage a team of five Finance Assistants
4. Oversee month-end reporting, audits and statutory returns
5. Conduct financial analysis and bench-marking to support decision-making
6. Manage OPEX and CAPEX processes and controls
7. Oversee finance systems
8. Support process improvements using advanced Excel skills
9. Collaborate with senior leaders, academy finance leads and the wider central team
The Successful Applicant
10. ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
11. Proven experience managing a team
12. Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
13. Knowledge of OPEX and CAPEX processes
14. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS)
15. Ability to work at pace and adapt quickly
16. Experience within academy trusts or education desirable
