Associate Tutor – Catering Lead (Alternative Provision / SEN)
Tunbridge Wells Area Start: 8th June – End of Academic Year

We’re looking for an Associate Tutor – Catering Lead to deliver hands-on learning and inspire students in an alternative provision setting. This role is perfect for someone who wants to combine their catering expertise with making a real difference to young people with additional needs and behavioural challenges.
What you’ll be doing:
* Delivering the BTEC Catering qualification through engaging, practical lessons
* Leading kitchen sessions and supporting students to develop life and employability skills
* Preparing and managing breakfast club and school lunches
* Maintaining a safe, organised, and compliant kitchen environment
* Supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and behavioural needs
* Building strong relationships and acting as a positive role model and mentor
* Working closely with teaching staff, leadership, and external agencies
* Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students achieve their potential
What we’re looking for:
* Background in catering, hospitality or professional kitchens
* Experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work, or similar)
* Strong behaviour management or a genuine passion to develop it
* Patient, resilient, and confident managing challenging situations
* A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
* Level 2 Maths & English (or equivalent)
