Job Description:
Our Tier 1 Procurement team leads the market in providing innovative and complex advice to clients. Working with a Chambers ranked partner, this new hire will add to the depth of our offering and will specialise in Public Procurement advice for a diverse range of clients, including public, private, and third sector organisations.
What you will be doing:
* Providing practical and risk-based advice on complex procurement issues, tendering procedures, procurement structures, and evaluation/qualification criteria.
* Drafting and advising on procurement documents such as Tender Notices, Questionnaires, Invitation Documents, assessment summaries, Transparency Notices, and related procedures.
* Advising various clients on procurement regulations, including local authorities, government departments, NHS trusts, and housing providers.
* Participating in marketing initiatives, including writing articles, presenting at conferences, and attending networking events.
* Engaging in training sessions and sector interest groups.
* Training and developing junior staff where appropriate.
What you will need:
* Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years' experience in procurement law.
* Interest in public procurement, state aid, and related sectors such as housing, local government, energy, health, and construction.
* Excellent technical skills and strong client focus.
* Drive, enthusiasm, and commercial awareness.
* Organisational skills and excellent communication.
* Team player with a strong academic record.
