We’re recruiting for a Payroll Operations Specialist join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

What you'll be doing:
* Processing daily payroll reconciliations and resolving exceptions to maintain accurate and timely customer payments
* Acting on outstanding information quickly and working with relevant teams to meet agreed service levels
* Supporting operational payment processes and contributing to strong internal controls
* Developing and maintaining knowledge of payroll legislation, regulatory requirements and internal procedures
* Coaching and guiding colleagues by sharing knowledge of retirement products, payment services and end‑to‑end processes
* Supporting user testing and monitoring system or process changes to protect payment accuracy
* Recording workflow accurately and completing quality checks to ensure reliable management information
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and enhancing the customer journey through Agile ways of working
Who we're looking for:
* Experience working in a payroll environment, ideally with high‑volume pension payrolls (10,000+), including B2C and B2B reconciliations
* Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems and software
* Ability to analyse and interpret financial and technical payroll data to resolve queries
* Confident communicator who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels
* Skilled problem‑solver with sound judgement and the ability to make informed decisions
* Well‑organised approach to planning and prioritising payroll activities
* Collaborative team player who supports others and contributes to shared goals
* Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data-driven tasks
