Our goal is to enable them to pursue their aspirations and lead fulfilling, autonomous lives. The Beehive Project offers a range of accommodation options designed to support young people aged 16-25 at different stages of their journey toward independence.

The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Key Worker to provide holistic, ongoing support to young people facing a range of challenges including mental health issues, homelessness, poverty, addiction, or ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences).

Key Responsibilities:

* Build empathetic, professional relationships with young people to develop trust and offer emotional and practical support—especially during times of crisis.

* Support young people in developing the skills and confidence to live independently.

* Create, maintain, and review personalised risk assessments, care plans, ensuring the active involvement of the young person to promote a person-centred approach

* Ensure all interactions and support provided are accurately documented to assist in the writing of monthly reports.

* Work closely with external agencies (e.g., social workers, healthcare professionals, housing associations) and provide support with attending appointments when needed.

* Identify development and training needs to promote employability, including help with education and college applications.

* Promote inclusion by encouraging participation in local community activities and events.

* Take part in a weekly on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support as part of a dedicated team.

Candidate Attributes & Desirable Skills:

* Level 3 in Adult Social Care / Children and Young People or equivalent (or willingness to work towards this qualification).

* Experience working with vulnerable young people or those presenting challenging behaviours.

* Strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Confident working independently and as part of a supportive team.

* Resilient, calm under pressure, and able to manage crisis situations.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

* Compassionate, non-judgemental, and solution-focused approach.

* Familiarity with CQC and Ofsted standards is desirable.

* Must have valid right to work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorship.

You will embody our values – PRAISE:

Passion – Bring energy, commitment, and heart to everything you do, showing genuine care for the young people we support.
