Responsibilities
:
1. Act as the firm's expert on alternative data, independent research, and investment tools relevant to the strategy you cover, with deep knowledge of the providers, products, and industry trends
2. Perform research on content relevant to your strategy in order to stay well-informed of changes to known products and discover new products not yet in use at the firm
3. Build and maintain detailed documentation on the providers and products in your coverage
4. Develop a view on the strengths, weaknesses, and potential value of each product, including how itpares to other available content
5. Author and publish proprietarymentary on products under your coverage to our investment professionals in order to inform and educate them on the landscape and rmend high-value products
6. Build 1x1 relationships with investment professionals within the strategy you cover and understand their unique investment process and use of content
7. Advise investment professionals within the strategy you cover on available content that suits their strategy and perform bespoke research on their behalf as needed
8. Onboard new investment professionals to the platform and market the platform to prospective IPs
9. Establish strategic relationships with new content providers and in turn, generate unique opportunities to access content for our investment professionals
10. Negotiatemercial and business terms with new content providers to achieve the best pricing and position for scale
11. Collaborate with other Content Analysts and key internal counterparts, including business management, data science and engineering, legal,pliance, and operations
12. Manage high volumes of work across a diverse set of functions and on behalf of various investment professionals withpeting priorities, requiring one to effectivelymunicate expectations with internal and external counterparts, and execute quickly and efficiently
13. Leverage and contribute to the development of internal technology in order to improve workflows and the investment professionals' experience
Qualifications/Skills Required:
14. 5+ years professional experience in finance, data, and/or research
15. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
16. Strongmunication skills, both written and verbal
17. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
18. Intellectually curious and creative, seeking constant challenge and improvement
19. Resourceful and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
20. Excellent organization and time management skills to manage high volumes of work
21. Ability to handle pressure and energized by high performance standards
22. Familiarity with discretionary and systematic investment processes and the application of data
23. Background in fixed ie and/ormodities preferred
