Location: Haywards Heath, RH16 1UA. We are also opening a depot in East Grinstead in the near future, and you'll work out of both locations as needed.
Full Time: 39 hours per week
Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 4pm and Friday 7am - 3pm
Interview date: Tuesday 30th September (an alternate date can be arranged if this isn’t suitable)

Role
HGV Refuse Driver at Serco – Join our Haywards Heath team and play a vital role in keeping the community clean, safe, and sustainable. You will deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses, working with a professional and friendly team to maintain high standards and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Complete a pre-planned route as the driver, with your team of loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
* Be the public face of Serco in the community.
* Ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready, before setting off on your round.
* Work alongside loaders to drive efficiency and hit targets.
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you...
* Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence and a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* Are physically fit and healthy (this is a must, due to the nature of the work)
* Are a dedicated, friendly and professional team player
