Role Responsibilities

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

* Managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients, overseeing assignments from planning to completion
* Leading fieldwork, supervising on-site teams, and ensuring all work meets the highest quality standards
* Providing technical expertise and resolving complex audit issues
* Supporting junior team members, mentoring, and providing training to enhance their development
* Building strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact
* Reviewing work completed by team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations
* Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to add value to clients
* Assisting with the firm’s growth strategy and process improvement initiative

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified with significant UK practice experience
* Have a proven track record of managing audit assignments and client portfolios
* Possess excellent technical knowledge of audit processes and regulations
* Be a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills
* Have a proactive, organised approach to managing multiple priorities
* Demonstrate confidence in mentoring and developing junior staff members
* Be commercially aware and able to identify opportunities for growth
