Geography Teacher – Independent School (Cheshire)
Long-Term Supply | Minimum 1 Term | Start: After February Half Term
Pay: £150 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a high-quality Geography Teacher to join a well-regarded independent school in Cheshire for a minimum of one term, starting after February half term. This is an excellent opportunity to teach motivated pupils in a supportive, academically focused environment with smaller class sizes and strong behaviour standards.
This role would suit a confident classroom practitioner who is passionate about Geography and able to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the secondary age range.
The Role:
* Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience advantageous but not essential).
* Plan engaging, well-sequenced lessons aligned to the school’s curriculum.
* Maintain high academic and behavioural expectations.
* Marking and assessment in line with school policy.
* Contribute positively to the wider school ethos and enrichment culture.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / PGCE or equivalent).
* Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
* Experience teaching within UK secondary education.
* Confident classroom and behaviour management.
* Professional, reliable and adaptable.
* Independent / private school experience desirable but not essential.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Successful candidates should hold QTS, PGCE with a relevant Bachelor's Degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
