To ensure processes are followed within the warehouse to ensure products are receipted in, stored and despatched to the agreed standards and loading plans whilst keeping our colleagues safe.
Responsibilities:
1. Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch. Load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading dispatch paperwork.
2. Unload all incoming vehicles as required and rack away stock following acceptance and GRN generation.
3. Receive, organise, and store inventory.
4. Work safely at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures, raising concerns through appropriate channels.
5. Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing starter documentation and reporting damages following the proper procedures.
6. Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene in line with GMP requirements.
7. Undertake training and assist with training colleagues when required. Act as a buddy for new colleagues and provide guidance where necessary.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Experience in a similar role within warehousing.
* FLT / Counterbalance or Reach truck experience is desired (must provide certification or license).
* A good standard of education with strong literacy and numerical skills, able to communicate and report clearly in English.
