*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be capable of diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Conduct comprehensive MOT testing on various vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake checks.
* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
* Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
* Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational efficiency.
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role (2 years requirement)
* Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, and electrical systems.
* Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools is advantageous.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail are essential.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
* A valid driver's licence is required; additional certifications in automotive repair or maintenance are a plus.
