Shift Manager Manufacturing
Location: Cheshire
Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Shift Manager to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to lead a large team, drive operational performance, and deliver high-quality products in a safe and efficient setting.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading your shift through a Team Manager structure, setting clear objectives, and ensuring delivery against key operational and service KPIs. You will promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver operational KPIs including OEE, waste, yield, productivity, and labour control
*Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and factory compliance
*Lead and develop Team Managers and wider shift teams (80160 colleagues)
*Drive performance, engagement, and succession planning
*Ensure service targets are met on time and within budget
*Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve processes
*Support continuous improvement and implementation of change initiatives
*Manage labour and overhead costs to meet budget targets
