Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Sous Chef at our beautiful venue in Kinmount. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of food production and preparation, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional events.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality
* Manage food production and preparation processes
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Collaborate with event coordinators to meet client needs
* Train and develop kitchen team members
* Ensure proper inventory management of food supplies
* Assist in menu planning and execution for events
* Qualifications
* Proven supervising experience in a culinary environment
* Strong team management skills
* Extensive food production and preparation experience
* Culinary qualifications or equivalent experience preferred
* Knowledge of food safety regulations
* Excellent leadership abilities
* Background in hospitality is a plus
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
