Senior Security Architect - Fully Remote - £80-85k
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Security Architect to play a critical role in strengthening and evolving our clients global cybersecurity posture.
This is a high-impact, hands-on position where you will assess the current security landscape, define pragmatic architecture improvements, and drive delivery across key areas including cloud security, DevSecOps, and network segmentation.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, working across a complex, global, federated organisation to embed security by design and support the secure adoption of emerging technologies such as AI.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the assessment and evolution of the organisation’s security architecture
* Develop and deliver a security architecture roadmap addressing key gaps and technical debt
Drive improvements in:
* Network and cloud segmentation
* DevSecOps capabilities
* Cloud security and data protection (DLP)
* Provide hands-on architectural guidance across cloud platforms (primarily Azure)
* Support the selection and optimisation of security tooling (e.g. SASE, cloud security solutions)
* Embed security by design across projects and technology initiatives
* Contribute to governance and architectural decision-making forums
* Support the secure adoption and governance of AI and emerging technologies
About You
* You are a pragmatic, hands-on security architect who thrives in environments where you can make a tangible impact.
* Strong experience designing and implementing end-to-end security architectures
* Proven expertise in cloud security (Azure preferred)
* Experience improving or building DevSecOps practices
* Solid understanding of network segmentation and identity/access controls
* Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
* Ability to balance technical depth with stakeholder influence
* Experience working in complex, distributed or global environments
