Company Description
Blackburn Foodbank is committed to ensuring that no one in the community faces hunger. By providing at least three days of nutritionally-balanced emergency food to individuals in crisis referred by professionals such as social workers, schools, and GPs, we aim to address immediate needs and long-term solutions. As part of The Trussell Trust's nationwide network, we work to tackle poverty and hunger while advocating for systemic change to eliminate food insecurity across the UK. The Foodbank understands that increasing resilience in clients is the best way to reduce crisis needs so significant wraparound support is engaged on a regular basis.
