Head of Pre-Sales - Hybrid Cloud, VDI & Microsoft

Package: base + car allowance + quarterly bonus, c.£150k OTE
Lead from the front. Build something that scales.
We're not looking for a figurehead. We're looking for a player-coach — someone who can lead a pre-sales team across the UK and North America and roll up their sleeves on the deals that matter most.
If you're the kind of pre-sales leader who gets a kick out of walking into a complex, multi-tower enterprise bid and walking out with a solution that's technically watertight, commercially sharp, and actually deliverable — we should talk.
What you'll own
* The pre-sales function — its people, its output, its reputation.
* The biggest, most strategic bids. You'll personally shape them, not just sign them off.
* The bridge between what sales promises and what delivery ships. No more daylight between the two.
* The evolution of productised services — pricing, positioning, and the stuff that makes customers say yes.
What you'll bring
A broad technologist's brain with deep roots in:
* Data centre — private cloud, hosting, storage, networking, DR
* EUC / VDI — ideally enterprise-scale VDI or DaaS
* Microsoft cloud — M365, Azure (IaaS/PaaS), identity, hybrid
* Data services — backup, recovery, protection, governance
Plus the stuff that can't be taught: a Service Provider pedigree, the confidence to sit with a CTO one hour and a solution architect the next, and an instinct for what's actually buildable.
